The wealth gap has become a preeminent news story in recent times, being exacerbated by the pandemic and some of the less palatable things certain billionaires have said in regards to taxation. But it's hard to really grasp certain aspects of the wealth gap with words alone. Humans are visual learners and I wanted to test my JavaScript skills and was feeling inspired by a super cool project I saw (which will be linked along with my sources at the end), so I thought I would attempt to visualise 4 insane wealth gap stats on my site.
